Life begins to move before it takes on a visible form.
The overlapping, spiraling brushstrokes depict an unnamed, formless presence gradually emerging into being. A dense mass of ink rests quietly like the nucleus of life, while the fine lines and bleeding ink that circle around it evoke cellular growth, breath, pulsation, and the instinctive force reaching toward the outside world.
Conception marks not only the beginning of a life, but also the primal moment when thought, emotion, and creativity first arise.
